Con Artist - Tyler Thomas If you have acquired any sort of license, whether it authorizes you to exhibit exotic and wild animals or drive a car, imagine it being taken away as a result of the officer who charged you talking behind your back, circulating rumors and lies, and using the most heinous acts a person can commit, such as animal cruelty, as false accusations which he also started circulating around the public and among your colleagues. Think of that officer using his position as a law enforcement officer working for the government to influence another agency to then take away a federal license of yours and to influence court staff, again unbeknownst to you,
This is what William Powell of the NYSDEC did and likely is still doing. After stacking charges against me claiming I was in illegal possession of wild animals, namely coyotes, for which I was clearly licensed to possess and rehabilitate, I was then forced to face off against two courts on the same charges. When the charges were dismissed in the town court, the NYSDEC delayed the town court proceeding further and prepared for prosecution throughout their kangaroo court. Of course, every person who goes through their "court" is found guilty. In my case, there was no evidence at all that any animals were kept illegally. However, the department got its way and got any conviction they wanted even though there was no adequate prosecution presented. In fact, the entire hearing was held for the termination of one license but they mainly kept mentioning another license. I had, which technically is still valid.. Remember, this whole entire ordeal started over a minor argument I had with Powell in November 2015 during which he threatened my licenses. Shortly after the argument he opened a call record with the agency, NYSDEC, and that record stayed open for months, if not for a year. This is unusual since my research shows that very few dispatch records stay open that long, especially for the charges he made up on me.
